Personal hygiene is necessary for every one to prevent the disease and keep them healthy.

  • they may transfer the germs to other organs in their contact. They are prone to the contaminants because they are in contact with the environment most of the time and may touch directly the dirty items. To clean the hands properly you need to wash them with water and soap for at least 15 seconds each time and it’s better to use anti-bacterial soap with regular ones in alternatives. Your hands need to be clean and without germs if you want to touch your eyes, mouth, interior organs such as ear canals. You also must wash your hands after toilet certainly.

  • Washing the body; you must have a bath or take a shower every day or at least once a week with water and soap. If you are in camping or for any reason, don’t have access to bathroom, you may wash your body with a cloth and soap with water where ever is available such as clean rivers. It is important to clean hidden part of body when you are in bathroom such as around ears, under armpits and between feet toes. Some parts of your body have harder skin such as feet heels which must be scrubbed with a rough cloth or special foot scrubbers that you may provide from stores. These hard skin parts of your body have larger pores that can keep microbes there and cause fungus or bacterial infection. Especially because they have more contact with floor and carpets while you are walking, or they are tied in shoes for hours, so they are ready to be infected by germs or become irritated and sensitive. If your feet have become uncomfortable or rough, you may need to keep them in warm water for 10-15 minutes before washing them. If they seem to be covered by white, thick and  hard skin or look whiter than usual then you’d better to sink them in a pot of two cups of warm water with one cup of Listerine and one cup of squeezed lime juice or vinegar then scrub them with foot-stone or foot scrubber to remove the skin. Then rinse and dry. You may also use cornstarch or anti-fungus powders after bathing. Then you can wear soft, clean socks and keep on wearing them besides changing them every night to heal your feet. There are powders and sprays for closed shoes such as sport shoes which you may use everyday to keep your shoes clean and scented. Don’t forget to wash them thoroughly or at least clean your shoes with a cloth when they look dirty.

  • Keep your hair clean: You must wash your hair with shampoo or hair soap at least once a week. Your hair are the thinnest exterior part of your body that you see therefore they may break in half easily. Yes, although they are living organs and are made o cells but they can be broken and damaged. Your hair are the most part of your body that make a trace of you without your knowledge. Your hair fall own in many numbers every day and it helps them to grow. The dead hairs fall down exactly like the dead cells of your skin but you just are able to see the bigger ones such as your hair strings. Your hair may be damaged more if they are drier or thinner than medium type. If they drop in food in kitchen or somewhere else it’s not healthy to eat that food anymore. So for a better hygiene you must buy a proper shampoo which matches your hair type and moisturize them with hair conditioner and oil (specially on their tip) to strengthen them in string and root and lessen their tangles. You’d better to wear cooking hat if you have more hair drop while cooking. Avoid using the other combs to prevent spreading germs and hair disease.
  • Nails are a good place to keep and grow germs and parasites particularly if they are long and dirty. To keep your hygiene well you must clip your nails short or brush under your long nails with soap and warm water (with a small brush). Sometimes you must sink your nails into warm water mixed with squeezed lemon and hold for 5-10 minutes. It also helps the extra skin to be ready to be clipped.

  • Clothes must be used just for one person, be washed clean and become dry immediately after washing. Drying can be done by dry machine or by sunlight. Sunlight can kill many of germs and prevent them to grow and culture.

  • Teeth are our food  breaking machines and need to be kept healthy and strong as long as possible. You must change your tooth brushes at least every three months. Keep them away of germs. Brush your teeth before going to bed at least once a day. Rinse your teeth immediately after eating sweets or anything sweet and bread. Do not break hard things with your teeth. Avoid contacting your teeth with very cold or hot things such as ice and hot tea. Avoid to cause a sudden temperature shock to your teeth for example never bite hot food immediately after eating ice cream. 

  • If you use  public washrooms, bathrooms or other facilities, you may be careful to not contact with sick people and avoid the  environment that you are not sure of it’s condition. In public area you need to wash your hands more frequently and certainly after playing outdoor. You may clean the toilet with sanitizer wipes in the area of their contacts before using them. You may also use hand sanitizer as an immediate cleaner in urgent conditions such as immediately after doctor office, in camping area where you don’t have access to water. You may use a cloth or tissue to avoid air pollution, approaching sick people with contagious disease if you have no other choice. You must always use just your own tooth brush, comb, clothing, hat, towel, dish and cup. Try to not share them with others.
