Yesterday Zia Chaudhry, City Councillor Candidate Previewed Scarborough Perspective In This Nomination, Counting Numbers Of The Doors That Knocked!

Mr. Zia Chaudhry, City Coucillor Candidate, cleared his motivation in this nomination. Zia Chaudhry, 51 years old, born in India said he’d been in Nigeria for years, participating in community clubs and business associations in Scarborough at the current time. He said, “Scarborough is behind other wards like downtown Toronto. Scarborough has problems in business and safety and needs to improve. It needs better care for seniors and shelters.” He said, “I knocked more than 22,000 houses and most of them are looking for changes, because no one is listening to their requests and needs. I want to raise my voice in City Council for Scarborough.” He said he’s never been in any council in Toronto and told City Pulse a City Councillor has no challenge in reaching his plans in responding our question; “what are the obstacles and problems that might cause a City Councillor to fail in reaching his goals in the Council?”
